Accessorising

Sweater: Zara

Gold bracelet: New Look
Silver bracelet with stars: Martine Viergever
9 strings bracelet silver, gold, rose gold: COS
Ring with cross: Jutka & Riska

Bracelet with beads and roses: New Look
Rose gold bracelet: H&M
Yellow leather bracelet with wood: Nikki Giling
See through plastic ring: H&M

Today is my birthday, and I will wear my lovely Marni for H&M long dress. Even though the weather isn't that fantastic I feel like summer dressing up on this day. I will spice my dress up with some fantastic accessoiries, which you see in the above pictures. I love to wear different kind of material bracelets all together. I like to combine bold bracelets with beads bracelets with romantic roses. How do you like the Nikki Giling bracelet? The placement of the wood in the leather is a real craft. She also made lovely wooden visors and hats. A real treat when the sun will kick in!

Jungle of Music

Sweater: Zara
Leggings and Shoes: H&M
Bag: Episode
Head phones: Converse X Skullcandy
Bracelet: COS

Music is one of the things I love. Currently I am very much into Ane Brun and Lana del Rey. I will be visiting some festivals this summer. This will be a possibility for an outfit at one of those festivals. I cut some old leggings just above the knee and discovered a new fashion-piece. Long shirts look gorgeous on this length of leggings. What will you wear to your favourite festival?

Great Braid by Vogue

For today my inspiration is this picture of a great braid in the Dutch Vogue. I partly spend my weekend reading Vogue. Monday is my day off, so today I will spend gardening in a not so inspirational outfit but with this braid as a fashion accessory. Happy Monday!

Hysteria Lane

Blouse and short: H&M Conscious collection
Shirt and necklace: H&M
Bag: New Look
Nail polish: American Apparel
Ring: bought on Bali

Suburban live can be pretty. For me not as pretty as urban live, but still now and then a visit to suburbia makes you calm and feeling green inside. To add a little spice to suburbia I tried to combine some neon colours. Hope you like it!
One of my favourite TV shows has come to an end; Desperate housewives. I have enjoyed it for a long time. I think they did a good job with the last episodes. I'm not really a desperate housewife, but I could definitely live at Hysteria lane with this outfit...

Pretty Basics

Shirt and bracelet: COS
Shoes: IJhallen

Every now and then I realize I do not own that much basics. Lots of people I know only buy basics, or at least wear them a lot. I am one of those persons who buy almost everything in colour and most of the things I own have a print or at least a stripe or dot. My basics are black and white lingerie, singlets, skirts and leggings in plain colours. My personal religion is: everything matches as long as you wear it with pride. But yesterday and today I felt the need to buy some plain basics. The watershoes I found for 1 euro at the IJhallen. One of my favourite markets, which takes place every first weekend of the month in Amsterdam Noord. The shirt and bracelet I bought at COS, which opened a few months ago in Amsterdam. I think I found my new favourite shop for plain shirts. Although I did not shop a lot of plains in the past, I think I found a reason to buy more basics.
